Terms & Conditions for Car hire

1. You are required to obtain a Police Report in case of any accident and pay the following charges in addition to the rental charge:

      a. Compulsory insurance excess of maximum USD 200 for each accident.
      b. Towing charges in excess of USD 130 for each accident

2. A valid credit card imprint, license and passport copy is a must for every rental.
3. Age: Minimum 23 years; maximum 65 years.
4. The vehicles shall not be operated by any person under the influence of Alcohol or drugs. Vehicles shall not be operated by anyone other than the renter.
5. Only 4WD vehicles are permitted off road and any damage as a result of misuse is payable by the renter.
6. Loss of damages to personal items is not covered under the terms of the insurance.
7. Mark Tours reserve the right to substitute equivalent cars when the reserved car is unavailable.
8. If the renter needs to take the vehicle to UAE, prior permission should be taken and necessary border crossing Insurance and permission letter can be issued at an extra cost of USD 70 per trip valid for one week.
9. Comprehensive Insurance covers all accidental damages to the vehicle with the support of a Police Accident Report, except mechanical damages due to misuse and under-chassis damages including tyres, wheel rims, tubes, bulbs, Clutch and electrical items. Renter shall be liable to pay all charges for repairs and maintenance resulted due to misuse or negligence of the driver. Damage to windscreen, windows, wing mirrors and antenna shall also be borne by the renter.
10. Any damage caused to tyres and/or wheel rims due to the misuse/negligence of the driver, other than normal wear and tear, the cost of such repairs/replacements shall be borne by the renter.
11. Roof rack can be provided on request subject to availability.
12. All vehicles are equipped with seat belts, air-conditioning, radio & Cassette players.

License Requirements
Visitors can drive with American, European, British, International licenses. G.C.C and Omani driving licenses are also permitted if the renter is resident in GCC.
